Here’s a beautiful south Georgia sunset in late December. Now 2013 has come in and we begin another year thanking God for the blessings He gives us and asking Him to guide us in what we do – all to His glory.
“Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day. Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses, For they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord.” Psalms 25:4-7 NKJV
Lovely photo, Bill! And great scripture!
God Bless You!
Thanks Dei – God Bless you and yours.
Hey Dei – hope you get this. Just wanted you to know I haven’t disappeared – for some reason I haven’t been able to leave a “like” or comment on your blog for a week or so. Not sure what’s going on. Congratulations to your daughter and her husband -May God bless them. Great story!!
Thanks, Bill. I got your message. I have no idea why WP works the way it does!
God Bless You!
Beautiful sunset! I like the NKJV of Psalms. Lately I’ve been getting out that version more as NIV lacks some of the poetic flavor that NKJV has. But God’s word is good in all its forms. 🙂
Blessings ~ Wendy
Thanks Wendy – I agree on the translations – I also like the English Standard Version to help me understand. But the KJV/NKJV have the most beautiful phrases.
God Bless
