Here are some planted wildflowers in the side yard (if you plant them, are they still wildflowers?)
Actually, this is the second year of the flowers. I planted them last year where the ground was bare due to a new drain field installation. Then I noticed they were coming back, so I left them alone. Glad I did.

It’s not the year you planted them when they are wild, it is the following years-when they go wild! 😀 It seems many of our native plantings have not gone totally wild, but that crazy French poppy definitely has. It was supposed to be an annual.
What type of flower is this? Very pretty.
Thanks – good point! I don’t remember what type they are – I usually think of them as black eyed susans, but they’re not quite the same.
