Blooms and Scripture 6

Azaleas 2

Azaleas 2

Azaleas 1

Still busy these days (a good thing), but flowers are still blooming so I’ll do another round of Blooms and Scripture. I have a non existent vegetable garden this year – too many Saturdays in a row with work and rain, but the flowers are making up for some of that.

These are the azaleas at our church from a couple months ago. We’ve had much rain, and it was a fabulous year for azaleas. They were like this everywhere you looked.

“His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.” 2 Peter 1:3-4 ESV

Blooms and Scripture 5

Bird Feeder and Sunflowers

Bird Feeder and Sunflowers

Psalms 25 Completed

The troubles of my heart are enlarged : O bring thou me out of my distresses. Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins. Consider mine enemies ; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred. O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed ; for I put my trust in thee. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee. Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.”

Show me Your ways, Lord – for, I put my trust in You. Amen.

Blooms and Scripture 4

Oak Leaf and Trees

Oak Leaf and Trees

Oak Leaf offspring from a small seedling we bought probably 20 years ago. And, the Bald Cypress in the Tree Garden (a long way from 90′ tall, but getting started)

Psalms 25 continued

For thy name’s sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great. What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose . His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth. The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net. Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.” Psalms 25:11-16 KJV

Blooms and Scripture 3

Brown Eyes Smiling

Brown Eyes Smiling

Psalms 25 (continued)

Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.  All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.” Psalms 25:8-10
